Community Garden

LCSC offers an opportunity for individuals and groups to grow their own produce at our 5,000-square-foot garden located at Madison Park. With support from the City of Lakewood, we opened this community space in 2011 and it is going strong 11 years later.

Participants in the garden take as much produce as they want for their own families and donate the rest back to Lakewood Community Services Center so we can distribute it to our clients.  We are always looking for volunteers to help us plant and maintain our garden space.  If you are interested, please contact Colleen Timm.
